Our Story

Hi, I am Veronica "Ronnie" Ramirez and the owner of Harley's Toys and Comics. Originally the store was named 'Toys Ink' however in 2018, I wanted to make a shift from being only known for toys and comics but a place for all "superheroes". So that is when I decided to change the name after my hero, my 4-year-old German Shepherd, Harley.

I became 100% owner of Toys Ink in January 2011, inside the Tucson Mall in the same location as it is today. Unfortunately, in October of 2017 I experienced a bad business partnership that led to a huge amount of legal issues. I was left with a massive mess and only a few months to figure out what I was going to do. Harley stuck but my side and showed me that heroes don't always need to fly in to move a tall building, sometimes a hug and some cuddles can save the day. So I made the choice to reopen the store.  A year later I made the choice to change the name to Harley's Toys and Comics.

On most days you will find Harley hanging around the store waiting for someone to throw a ball. He loves belly rubs and gets excited to go for a walk. So, if you are ever at the Tucson Mall and want to meet a hero, stop by the store! Harley loves meeting new people..

Local Artists & Vendors

We aim to support local artists, makers and vendors in our community. There are so many talented artists that don’t know were to start or how to make their art into a career. Local art in Tucson has been a major reason why Tucson is so unique.

We feature all types of artwork. As long as the artist is passionate about what they create, we give them the platform they need to make a name for themselves.

To have your art featured in the store you can call, email or stop in to talk to Ronnie. When displaying your artwork you are required to promote yourself by either posting on your own social media, hosting or anything that would help promote your artwork.
